Scrap-Tastic is at it again! A beauty pageant. I am now going into Round 2 and I am hoping that they look at the inner beauty cause there is a lot of competition in this one. Come check out the talent!

Here is my Round 1 layout. We had to incorporate our fave scent by the colors we used and the overall feel of our layout.

Perfect Rain

Today is perfect. It is raining but still perfect. God gave perfect rain along with a perfect place to praise Him. What couldn't we praise Him for? He has made it all perfect.
Well, my headache isn't quite prefect. The terrible news each day of war and destruction, crime, pollution, divorce are also a few things not perfect. But, that is all by human means, not by Gods means. He gave us rights to do with things as we should. I for one will sit here in my God given space and try using my free will for His purpose and glory. Sharing love.

If you are having a bad day just email me. I will pray that God can give you some perfect rain and take your headache away.

1. I cannot go up or down an escalator. Becky- I hope you don't close your eyes when you drive over those bridges! lol

2. I love any music you can jump to. Not mosh, just jump.

3. I hate direct sales. Don't even come near me with a Tupperware catalog. It may take years to get over some built up resentment.

4. I like getting all painted, glued up and inked while scrapping or altering. It makes me feel so hands on!

5. I always try to find the good in all circumstances. Everything happens for a reason.

6. I want to be a vegan.

7. I always tell strangers to come over and visit or to call me. Dan hates it. He doesn't like me making best friends with strangers. Last week I told a lady that I have talked to briefly before to call me so we could go to a movie. - lol - I am just too random!

School Started!

Last week we started homeschooling. We usually go through the summer but we started all over with new curriculum from the school system so we want to be on their time line. So now I have a senior, an 8th grader, a 5th grader, a 3rd grader and Jed in Kindergarten. Talk about stress! All I hear all day is "Mom, help me". I love to feel needed but why can't they ask ALL questions BEFORE I walk back up the steps? SO far this week I have had a few petitions from the children who had their books touching each others desks. God forbid that Wynter's book touches Josey's desk!
All in all, we will survive!

- Dear Lord, can You please have Jera and Ella hypnotised by Barney this week while I give the lessons. That would be much help to me! Amen

where do I start?

I think the biggest news that you will get a kick out of is that I am a nature freak now. Organic all the way. The entire family will not be eating at any fast food again. The kids are doing great. Our lifestyle has changed. The budget for food has changed too! We eat less though so that is good. Eating healthy feels great. No preservatives, no additives, all raw and organic. We will be buying milk from the cow now, organic and friendly killed (as friendly as you can kill something!) beef, bison and chicken. Why? We started out to cleanse our body of the toxins we have eaten for years. It is sick what we eat and what we have given our kids. Just sick. Do you know that we have been eating foods altered with mutated genes that CAUSE tumors? Yes, it is true. Those tumors make the foods, veggies and fruits bigger so they SELL better (all for the love of money!) but those same foods have been possibly linked to causing cancer and tumors in humans. Sick that they knew the genes killed pigs but hey, give it to my kids! What the heck. Do you think the fda and cdc would take things off the shelf and cause a scare? Heck no. That would be so many foods that we couldn't even do it. It would be mass hysteria more than even bird flu epidemic. Anyway, we feel better and healthy! We MUST do anything we can do to KEEP us and our kids a little longer.

August: camping, news of my best friends breast cancer (PLEASE PRAY!), news of my father's brain tumor PLEASE PRAY!) my b day, Chey's b day, band practice for Josey and Wynter at school and I have entered a contest at Treasured Scrapbooking. Check it out!
